WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS
MASTERCLASS: LIDDED VESSELS
This workshop will be perfect for those wishing to refine their throwing skills and add another technique to their tool box. Session one will focus on throwing a jar with a lid and also a closed form. In the second session you will learn new techniques that will redefine the way you trim. You will get to keep 2 items of your own making, which will be glazed and fired in the studio, ready for collection 3-4 weeks after the session.
This workshop is for Beginner + & Intermediate Throwers. You must have completed at least 1-2 Beginners Wheel Throwing courses or similar experience, and be able to comfortably centre clay on the wheel.
You must be able to attend both sessions on Wednesdays 11th & 18th September 6:00-8:30pm to book into the class.

MASTERCLASS: THROWING PLATES
Are you ready to move beyond the cylinder? Let’s get vertical and learn about plates. Let me show you how to throw on a bat and trim a plate on the wheel.
This workshop will be perfect for those wishing to add another technique to their tool box. Session one will focus on throwing a plate. In the second session I will share techniques that will expand the way you trim. You will learn about the intricacies of why plates are different in almost all of the ways, from wedging your clay to the final stages of firing.
MASTERCLASS: THROWING WITH A MOULD
Want to make serving ware or larger pieces but don’t quite have the muscle to centre the large amount of clay needed? Let Adele show you how to ‘throw’ a large bowl on the wheel using a variety of techniques and moulds!
