Unlike a standard butter dish, this airtight ceramic butter keeper uses a clever water-seal system to preserve butter at room temperature—no refrigeration required.

Also known as a ceramic butter crock or butter keeper crock, this kitchen essential makes hard, cold butter a thing of the past. Just pack softened butter into the lid, pour cool water into the base, and invert to seal. The result? Butter that stays fresh, smooth, and perfectly spreadable all year round.
