Every mug is handmade by Adele Macer in Melbourne, Australia. Because each piece is individually crafted, slight variations in size, shape and glaze are part of what makes handmade pottery so special. The mug pictured is representative of the design and may not be the exact piece you receive. Dimensions and capacity are approximate.

Avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock), such as moving the mug directly from the refrigerator into boiling water.

Delivery, Pick up and Returns

SHIPPING

I ship to Australia, UK, USA, CANADA and NEW ZEALAND and use Australia Post.

Insurance is included in every order - See "Returns" below for information.

Orders are packed and shipped on once a week. Once the payment is received and I have dispatched the item you will receive a confirmation email with tracking.

Please make sure all of your contact details are correct and up to date especially your shipping address on PayPal. It is very important as this will allow the item to be safely shipped to your address. In case of a wrong address please notify me as soon as possible. There might be still time to correct it so you can enjoy your item on time.

Please note, we do NOT cover any international duties and taxes. If you order from an international location, please familiarise yourself with these costs as they will be charged by your taxation or customs department when your order arrives.

PICK UP

For pick up orders, the studio is available by appointment on Mondays - Thursdays, 10-4pm.

You will get an email when your order is ready to collect from Thornbury 3071 with full address and appointment information.

EXPRESS POST

I offer an Express post service through Australia Post. Usually dispatched from 1-3 days.

Returns & Refunds

Your happiness means the world to me. If something’s not quite right, please email within 30 days of receiving your order and I’ll do my best to help.

As each piece is handmade, I’m unable to offer returns for change of mind or on seconds/samples, but I’m committed to making sure you’re happy with your purchase.

All orders are packed with great care, and shipping insurance is included for peace of mind. If needed, I’m happy to offer an exchange or store credit. Items must be returned in their original condition within 7 days of approval.

Return postage (with tracking), as well as any taxes or customs charges, are the responsibility of the buyer

If your order arrives damaged or goes missing, please contact me on the day of delivery so we can resolve it together.

Lovely French Butter Bell handmade in Australia...winner winner!!

I have been searching for an Australian made French Butter Bell for some time, without success. Luckily, I stumbled across Adele's website and discovered that her handmade butter bells are not only beautiful but that they work really, really well.
We have been enjoying fresh, spreadable (real) butter since it got here nearly 3 weeks ago.

My beautiful butter bell made by the talented Adele!

I absolutely love my first ever medium size ceramic butter bell! Can’t beat that it’s hand made by the lovely Adele and locally made in Thornbury to boot! It was great to actually chat to Adele when I went to pick up my beautifully made butter bell in white.
